Hello everyone, I know it has been a while. I recently took a trip to Vietnam for 3 weeks and I had an amazing time there. This time around, I got to explore Phu Quoc Island and spent our stay at the JW Marriot Phu Quoc.
Where is Phu Quoc island?
Although I was born and grew up in Vietnam for the first 16 years of my life, I had never experienced the beauty of Phu Quoc island until this time around. Phu Quoc island is only 45 minutes away from HoChiMinh City by plane. It is a Vietnamese island off the coast of Cambodia. I was told that you could actually see Cambodia if you stand at one end of the island.
Where did I stay when I was there?
I have heard many wonderful things about JW Marriot Phu Quoc and that it is totally Instagram worthy so we decided to book our stay here for 2 nights. Trust me, they weren’t lying when they said that this resort was the place to be for all the influencers and Instagramers. I saw people with their own professional photographers and Insta husbands everywhere around the resort.
The hospitality at JW Marriot Phu Quoc is absolutely outstanding. Because the marketing team knows that I was an influencer and we were spending our time there, they sent us a lovely welcoming package to our room filled with the local fruits and cake that was made in-house.
This five-star stylish resort offered you a lot more than just beautiful decor. It was built on the concept of a University with different academic departments where you can experience different vibes and styles of architecture. I was surprised by the original vintage sewing machines at their cafe, the bar that was designed as if it was a chemistry lab and many other awesome things. I don’t want to describe too much in words as they wouldn’t do justice to express how beautiful this resort is. You just have to see it for yourself.
Our room was in the “Seashell Department” building. Everything there was designed accordingly. I love Phu Quoc because of its whitest sand and the most beautiful, unspoiled beaches. The water was so warm and clear. You wouldn’t want to leave. At JW Marriot, the beach is regularly maintained and is only available exclusively for the guests so we pretty much had the beach for ourselves to relax and just enjoyed the beauty of this island.
What did I pack for Phu Quoc Island?
On another note, I was glad that I got so many pretty items for this trip from TOBI. They fit perfectly with the decor of the resort to the core that everyone thought I really planned out all my outfits for this trip. They are such great items to travel to tropical countries if you want pieces that are lightweight and versatile. Dresses and rompers are the best and most ideal to bring on trips like this. TOBI is offering 50% off sitewide so make sure to take advantage of this opportunity.
What do you think about JW Marriot Phu Quoc? Would you consider staying here when you visit Phu Quoc island?
