Good morning, how are you doing?
Today is such a gloomy day in Toronto but also a perfect day for some soft lips and smokey eyes. As I promised, I would like to share with you one of my favourite looks and the products that I use to create this look.
For this look, I use Motives Cosmetics Eyeshadow Motives Mavens Elements Palette to create soft smokey eyes. I think this smokey look is very settle and I love the fact that it also opens up my eyes and create more dimensions to them. A smokey eyes look can never be completed with some great lashes or falsies. In this picture, I use an Asian brand that I bought on my trip to Vietnam. They are pretty natural and last for quite a few times of use. You just have to make sure to remove the glue on the strips right as soon as you take them off so you can use these lashes again next time.
What I love about the Motives Cosmetics Eyeshadow Motives Mavens Elements Palette is the fact that the colours are super pigmented and very easy to blend. This palette has every single colour that you need to create all types of looks and it is very versatile.
I am using the first colour on the top left to create the base all over my eyelid and then work on my crease with the soft grey colour (second top from the right). To soften the look, I blend in the two colours with a shimmering soft brown colour (second bottom from the left).
To finish this look, I apply my favourite liquid eyeliner (Motives Liquid Eyeliner in Noir). I love this eyeliner and I think I have been talking non stop about it on every single post of mine. It is truly something I cannot live without. If you want to check it out, here is the LINK to the product.
For the lips, you can apply a soft pink colour lipgloss to add some colour to the lips but still keep it natural and simple. For this look, I use Motives Lip Candies in Cotton Candy.
And this is it! Perfect look for a gloomy day. What is your favourite make up must have for days like this? I want to hear from everyone!
